Melbourne Knights and St Albans Saints youth sides  will contest this year Memorial Cup on Wednesday night 28/5/08 at the Knights stadium. The Cup was created by Hrvatski Vjesnik in conjunction with Melbourne Knights and St Albans Saints to honour a long serving Croatian activist and Hrvatski Vjesnik editor Mr. Tomislav Starcevic. Both sides play on the weekend so the youngsters will be given opportunity to impress the selectors, players not playing regularly in the first eleven will also be given a run.
