Knights welcome Tornado to Somers Street

The Melbourne Knights Football Club is delighted to confirm that Melbourne Tornado Zadar will permanently relocate to the Melbourne Croatia Sporting Complex in 2014.

Formed in 2000, Tornado will be giving up their Newmarket home ground in order to train and play at the Somers Street facility.

“Tornado, since their inception, have always supported the Knights,” explained Knights President Ange Cimera.
“We’re looking forward to having the boys play here on Saturdays. It’s where they belong.”

“It is our distinct pleasure and honourable privilege to join the greater Melbourne Croatia community in a more intimate manner,” Tornado Chief of Staff, Pasko Zupan said.

“We sincerely hope our time playing at Knights brings forth as many memories as all of the years we have enjoyed coming here as supporters of the club.”
