Councillor Sipek announced No. 1 ticket holder

The Melbourne Knights are pleased to confirm that Moonee Valley Sports and Recreation Councillor, John Sipek, has accepted the No. 1 ticket for the 2012 VPL season.

Former Mayor of Moonee Valley, Councillor Sipek is honoured to have been selected by the Melbourne Knights. “I know what this means. I know that former Victorian Minister for Sport Tom Reynolds and Mark Viduka have both previously held the No. 1 ticket and it means a great deal to have been chosen,” said Councillor Sipek after being presented with the gold pass at the Croatian Cultural Festival on Sunday. “I plan to take my family along to every game and I hope to see you all there,” he added.

Councillor Sipek will be in attendance for the first home game of the season at Knights Stadium against Hume City on Sunday.
