Knights partner with leading football software provider

The Melbourne Knights Football Club are excited to announce a new partnership between the Club and ProTrainUp, a leading football management software company. This collaboration is set to enhance communication and streamline operations within the Club, marking a significant step forward in our commitment to excellence and growth.

Established in 2013, ProTrainUp is a data driven club management system designed by the footballing community for the footballing community. ProTrainUp integrates both quantitative and qualitative data to power club operations for both club personnel and participants and will allow the Club to:

  • Streamline communications between Club personnel and players, including the use of native in-app public and private messenger services.
  • Streamline the delivery of training session, including the use of training sessions and plans used by leading international federations and clubs, made available exclusively through ProTrainUp.
  • Have an up-to-date calendar of training sessions and matches.
  • Collect data and statistics about players to then generate advanced reports individual player development or the whole team progress.

Already being used by other European clubs and federations to manage multiple competitions and teams, including Dinamo Zagreb FC and FC Porto, the primary goal of this partnership is to improve communication between club personnel, players, and parents. ProTrainUp’s state-of-the-art software will provide a centralised platform for efficient and effective communication, ensuring that all members of the Melbourne Knights community are well-informed and engaged. The system is both web based and via the app, and will give players and parents the ability to have push notification enabled to never miss important Club notifications.

Moreover, this partnership will play a crucial role in the Club’s goal of scaling up the juniors program in 2025. By leveraging ProTrainUp’s comprehensive tools for training management, performance tracking, and development planning, we aim to provide our young players with the best possible environment to grow and succeed. The software will facilitate better coordination among coaches, seamless tracking of player progress, and enhanced training experiences, all contributing to the overall development of our junior athletes.
