The Melbourne Knights Football Club is delighted to announce Nick Glavan as its final signing before the transfer window closes for 2019.
Glavan, 22, comes across from fellow NPL side Dandenong Thunder and is a familiar name to Knights fans, as the classy defender returns to the club since departing in 2016.
“I’d suffered a pretty bad injury last season when I did my ACL and missed nearly 10 months of football. My body is feeling better than ever at the moment and I’ve fully overcome my injury and and am itching to get back on the park. I’m pretty stoked to be back at the Knights. It’s always been the club I’ve wanted to be playing at.”
Glavan will be available for today’s game away to Altona Magic at Paisley Park with kick off scheduled for 6:00pm.
Newcomers Calvin Whitney and Nick Glavan will replace outgoing club legend Tomislav Uskok who is off to Sydney United and Tom Podaridis who has been released by the club.
Good luck Nick .. and Melbourne Knights ..
