Ben makes it nine in a row

Melbourne Knights FC are thrilled to announce that Ben Surey has re-signed for the club for the 2018 NPL Season.

Surey, who took on the player-manager’s role towards the back end of the last season and saved the club from relegation, will enter his nineth season at Somers Street.

The 34-year-old veteran said that it was a no brainer when re-signing with the club.

“I’ve only ever played for one club since coming out to Australia nearly 9 years ago, so it was never really a question of where I was going to be playing next season. Rested, fit and ready to go again, I’m looking forward to the challenge of making next season a successful one for the club!”

The club is delighted to have secured the services of Surey for yet another year and wish him all the best for the upcoming 2018 season.
