Melbourne Knights Football Club offers you the unique opportunity to own a part of your very own football club.
The club has been wholly owned by its body of members since its inception in 1953. The club is democratically run in accordance with its constitution by supporters on a one member one vote basis. Members vote on all major decisions, such as electing the Board and deciding the direction of the club.
Every member has an equal share in ownership, so for a Bronze membership priced at $60 you could co-own our club and help steer its future!
Not For Profit
The Melbourne Knights Football Club is run in a profitable way, but is a not for profit organisation.
All money generated by the club is wholly reinvested in running the club, providing services for members and carrying out community work.
The constitution means the club can never be bought by an individual or a company, and if the club ever does get into financial trouble, you as a member aren’t liable for any of the club’s debts save for a token amount. We’re planning on being here for another 60 years, and with your support and continued passion – we will be.
Share Our Vision
Most members of the club are dedicated fans of the Knights, but we encourage membership to anyone who believes in what our club stands for, philosophically and morally.
Our supporters and community are the heart of our club, we’re committed to the principle that fans must have the final say in the way football should be run.
The more members we have, the louder our collective voice will be.
