Melbourne Knights FC Official Website Melbourne Knights Football Club can today confirm the appointment of Josip Loncaric as Director of Football for the 2025 season and beyond.
Having played all his juniors at the club, including being a part of the 2001 National Youth League Championship side, Josip is no stranger to the club.
“It’s great to be back at the club where I started my football journey. I’m excited by the direction that the club is taking in terms of player development, and I am really looking forward to getting started.”
Josip brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience not only as a player but also as a coach, having most recently spent time at Brunswick Juventus as Head Coach for the NPLW side, as well as currently working at Football Victoria in coaching education. Josip holds an AFC A Diploma and will spend much of his time working with all of the coaches throughout the club, from the MiniRoos all the way up to the Under 23s.
