Christmas comes early at Somers St as Albano re-signs for 2020

After an impressive 2019 debut season at Somers Street, the Melbourne Knights Football Club is happy to announce its first re-signing for season 2020 – Gian Albano – right in time for Christmas.

Newly appointed manager Stuart Munro and Assistant Coach Lachie Armstrong have been impressed with the attacking forwards showing in the pre-season, whilst Albano himself is ready to elevate on his 2019 performances for the club.

“2019 was my first year out of Western Australia and I really settled well with the club and the boys. There’s a few practice games coming up so it will be great to get back on the pitch for some light competition”

“Stuart and Lachie are keen to get us playing in our true positions, which is something I’m really looking forward to next year. Hopefully this then translates to results on the pitch” said Albano.

The club is excited to have Gian on board for another season, and we wish him a Merry Christmas and the best of luck moving into the New Year.
