Knights fans! We know 2021 has possibly been even more of a rollercoaster compared to last year when it comes to all our footballing competitions, but Football Victoria have officially announced the termination of all footballing competitions across metro Melbourne.
Yes, that means no more football for 2021. But now the work begins to make an even more successful 2022. As a club that never rests on its laurels, work has already begun to prepare our competitions for the coming year. We would like to thank all of our loyal members, supporters, fans, volunteers, staff, players and parents on their tireless commitment to the club through these restrictive times. Stay tuned to our socials for all major club announcements but in the mean time, see below what the announcement means for our relative competitions.
Juniors Competitions
Affected competitions: MiniRoos U8, U9, U10, U11 – Junior Boys and Girls U12, U13 – NPL U14, U15, U16, U17
What this means: All training and season competitions end as they currently are. The club is now taking expressions of interest for 2022 juniors competitions. See HERE for more information. More club will be announced in the coming weeks.
Womens Competitions
Affected competitions: Reserves and Seniors
What this means: All training and season competitions end as they currently are. There will be no relegation and no promotions to different league levels. No season premiers, champions or runners-up will be awarded. More club will be announced in the coming weeks.
Mens Competitions
Affected competitions: U19, U21, Seniors
What this means: All training and season competitions end as they currently are. There will be no relegation and no promotions to different league levels. No season premiers, champions or runners-up will be awarded. More club will be announced in the coming weeks.
