Melbourne Knights FC is proud to unveil the Club’s now on sale “Generation to Generation” membership campaign for the upcoming 2015 PS4 NPL Victoria season.
Heading into the new year as Dockerty Cup winners, 2015 will be a hugely important period for the Club as the senior team – lead by former Socceroos Andrew Marth and Frank Juric – looks to build on the success of the previous year and challenge for the Victorian title with a fully-fit squad.
Memberships are on sale now at the Knights Stadium offices, with personalised membership cards available to pick up on purchase – a perfect idea for a last minute Christmas gift! The offices will be open 6pm – 8pm tonight (Tuesday, 23rd December) and also open on Friday nights in the new year.
Online purchases will be able to be made at a later stage, with the Club notifying supporters via the Club website and social media channels when that’s possible.
The 2015 membership pitch of “Generation to Generation” highlights the generational support the Knights has been privileged to have throughout the Club’s history, with evidence of that present in the current crop of players and staff.
2014 Vice-Captain Marijan Cvitkovic and Deputy Vice-Captain Tomislav Uskok are life-long supporters of the Club, having stood on the terraces at Somers Street before pulling on the famous red, white and blue strips to score some hugely important goals during last season’s campaign.
Andrew Marth has also had an impact on several generations of Knights supporters, having played in the Club’s two National Soccer League winning seasons, captained the Club before taking the reigns as head coach, and now has his son playing in the junior ranks – the second generation to be involved at Melbourne Knights.
Off the pitch, many current members have started their support of the Club under the guidance of parents or relatives who first took them to games, as is often the tradition in football.
All 2015 Melbourne Knights Memberships give supporters voting rights, a membership card, a membership key-ring, a membership bag and membership stickers & magnets, although merchandise will be available in the new year.
