The Melbourne Knights have signed former Wellington Phoenix striker Hamish Watson in a frantic finish of the transfer windows deadline day.
Watson, a New Zealand national arrives at the club via Team Wellington playing in the New Zealand national league, having scored 8 goals in 12 starts in last year’s campaign.
The tall striker was on Phoenix’s A-league roster in three separate stints, spending over 3 years with the Wellington based A-league side.
