Melbourne Knights would like to confirm the following squad changes ahead of today’s transfer deadline.
Joining the already announced Anthony Duzel are Kamal Ibrahim from Avondale FC, Shaun Timmins from Floreat Athena, Nick Apostolopoulos from Port Melbourne and French national Mehdi Martin.
The club have moved to bolster its defensive stocks with the signing of Martin; a 27 year old French national who arrives with extensive experience in Luxembourg and France’s lower tiers.
Nick Apostolopoulos; an exciting youngster who has spent time with Adelaide United and Real Valladolid in Spain, and Shaun Timmins; an experienced full-back who has previously played for Hume City and South Melbourne.
Former Gold Medallist Kamal Ibrahim provides the Knights with some much needed pace in the final third.
Departing the club are defensive pairing Damien Miskulin and Patrick Gerhardt. The committee would like to thank the pair for their contribution to Melbourne Knights, and wish both well for future footballing endeavours.
