Melbourne Knights FC head coach Andrew Marth has been presented with a one match suspension and a $500 fine following a Notice of Misconduct Offence from Football Federation Victoria.
The notice relates to an incident in the 93rd minute of last Friday’s fixture with Port Melbourne, involving Marth and “Sharks” captain Shaun Kelly inside the Knights’ technical area.
The Club has received footage of the incident. The Club is undecided as to which direction it will go in regards to a guilty plea or appeal.
FFV has given the Club until 1pm on the Monday to file an appeal. The Club and Marth will be making no further comment on the situation.
