Bragging rights will be up for grabs when the original Melbourne Derby returns to Somers Street this Friday night as your Melbourne Knights take on long time rivals South Melbourne FC. With perfect playing conditions forecasted for this Friday night, the match will surely be a crowd pleaser.
The match, scheduled for Friday the 6th of April, will see South Melbourne FC travel to Knights Stadium, pitted against a hungry Melbourne Knights side, with kick off scheduled for 7:30pm. Both teams enter this weeks NPL match-up bruised and battered, after both suffering early exits from the opening rounds of the Westfield FFA Cup, with both clubs striving to revive their respective seasons, sparks are sure to fly in the next installment of the oldest rivalry in Australian football.
