Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible to vote?
Under the Constitution ratified by Consumer Affairs Victoria in September 2025, voting eligibility requires Ordinary Membership for at least three of the previous five years (from 2024 onward). As this condition was not in place when 2025 members joined, the Board has resolved to grant them voting rights.
Summary:
Members with historical membership prior to and including 2025: Voting rights granted.
First-time members joining from 2026 onward: Must meet the “3 of 5 years” rule.
The Board is reviewing this constitutional detail to ensure clarity going forward.
When does my 2026 membership start and finish?
Memberships are valid for the 2026 VPL Victoria season and include home fixtures covered by your membership type.
Are finals included?
Finals and special events are not included unless clearly specified.
How do I receive my card and items?
After your form is processed, you will receive confirmation. Collection and postage options are outlined on the form.
How do I get a copy of the Constitution?
A copy of the Constitution can be obtained by emailing your request and Membership ID to [email protected].
Please allow up to 21 days for a response.
The Constitution is available to all members.
