Melbourne Knights FC is a member of the Footall Federation of Victoria, currently playing in the PS4 National Premier Leagues. It has a long and rich history of over 60 years, having helped produce over 30 Australian representative footballers.
Melbourne Knights FC are seeking the services of a MiniRoos Technical Director.
It is desirable for all applicants to have the AFC – C Licence Youth (or enrolled for 2017). Applicants must also hold a current Working With Children Check.
Applicants must be familiar with the FFA National Curriculum and be able to implement the coaching principles set out within.
Desired Skills and Qualities
–Working knowledge of the FFA National Curriculum
– Co-ordinating our MiniRoos program from Under 7 to Under 11 age groups
– Managing and appointing coaches
– Assist with conducting player gradings
-Good communication skills
-Patience and determination to develop players
-Ability to give and receive positive/constructive feedback
-Willingness to learn
-Ability to self-evaluate own performance
-Provide player feedback
-Organisational and planning skills
-Professional manner
-Passionate about coaching and football
-Display flexibility and adaptability
-Energetic and enthusiastic
-Any other duties that the club may see as a requirement to the role.
This position will report directly to the club Technical Director.
