2016 Membership Campaign Launched

Melbourne Knights FC is excited to launch its 2016 membership campaign, in what will be a year of celebrating all aspects of the Football Club.

The slogan for the campaign is “One Love, One Club”, signifying the Melbourne Knights community’s unification and common love for everything we stand for as a Club.

With the senior men’s team as the flagship team of the Club, all other a squads will be showcased this year, including our junior boys & girls teams and our senior women’s team – who embark on an important year in Zagame’s Women’s State League One for the first time.

Off field, we’ll celebrate our army of volunteers, who are the heartbeat of the Club.

2016 membership offers you the unique opportunity to OWN a part of your very own football club.

The Club has been wholly owned by its body of members since its inception in 1953. The Club is democratically run in accordance with its constitution by supporters on a one member one vote basis. Members vote on all major decisions, such as electing the Board and deciding the direction of the Club.

Not For Profit

Melbourne Knights Football Club is run in a profitable way, but is a not for profit organisation.

All money generated by the Club is wholly reinvested in running the Club, providing services for members and carrying out community work.

The constitution means the Club can never be bought by an individual or a company, and if the Club ever does get into financial trouble, you as a member aren’t liable for any of the Club’s debts save for a token amount. We’re planning on being here for another 60 years, and with your support and continued passion – we will be.

Share Our Vision

Most members of the club are dedicated fans of the Knights, but we encourage membership to anyone who believes in what our Club stands for, philosophically and morally.

Our supporters and community are the heart of our Club, we’re committed to the principle that fans must have the final say in the way football should be run.

The more members we have, the louder our collective voice will be.
