Buceto lands at the Knights on his return to Aus

The Melbourne Knights Football Club is happy to announce the latest addition to the squad – John Buceto – for the 2020 NPL Season.

After learning his craft in Australia, Buceto, 24, joins the Knights after spending several years abroad in Germany, most recently with FC Kaan-Marienborn.

The dynamic attacking midfielder is excited to be back home in Australia and had this to say after putting pen to paper with the club;

“I’ve been overseas for over four years now and started to get a bit home sick. I loved my time in Germany as it was a good standard of professional football, but I felt that the time was right to come back home.

I’ve worked with Stuart in the past and when he made contact with me it was a no brainer for me to join the biggest club in the country.

I’ve loved my time so far at the club. We’ve been working hard in pre-season and I can’t wait until Round One and for the season to get going.”

The club will be making further announcements in the coming weeks so stay tuned to our media platforms.
