Lions duo join the Knights

William McLachlan and James McGarry have joined the Melbourne Knights from State League 1 side Bulleen Lions. The UK pair join the club after a number of players were released by coach Andrew Marth ahead of the mid season transfer window.
Right full back, McLachlan (24), spent his time as a junior at Rangers FC working his way up to the reserve team, before moving onto third division club Clyde FC.
Attacking midfielder, McGarry (24), had a spell at English Premier League club Hull City, playing in the reserve team. He joins the club after two and a half seasons with Bulleen Lions.
The duo are set to join the squad for tonight’s away match against newly promoted side Pascoe Vale.
