Melbourne Knights FC is happy to announce that the Club has re-entered a partnership with global Italian sportswear company Macron for the 2015 football season.
The deal will mean the Knights will wear Macron branded kits until at least the end of the upcoming 2015 National Premier Leagues and Dockerty Cup seasons, the third year of the Club’s long-standing relationship with the Italian sportswear giants.
Macron, an Italian company based near Bologna, has been the market leader in the production of “teamwear” since 1971. The company provides technical clothing for both professional and non-professional sports teams in Italy and abroad.
Macron have a vast range of products, from training kits to official kits for matches, and the representation accessories, all of undisputed quality.
Macron also produces “sports inspired” clothing for your free time, designed for a young and dynamic public.
The Knights will re-join a vast family of Macron-affiliated football clubs, including Croatian powerhouse HNK Hajduk Split, English sides Aston Villa FC and Bolton Wanderers FC, and Italian sides SS Lazio and SSC Napoli – just to name a few.
Melbourne Knights FC Secretary, Melinda Cimera said that the Club is looking forward to working again with Macron in 2015.
“When Macron approached us a few years ago, we immediately felt that we have found ourselves a true apparel partner. Whether it be a customised shirt for our 60th anniversary or an online store, we have found in Macron an apparel company that supports the clubs it clothes.
“We look forward to a successful year with Macron by our side.” she added.
Macron Australia & New Zealand Managing Director, David King said the partnership with the Knights had helped build trust for Macron, and expressed his pleasure in working with the Club.
“Knights were one of our first marquee clubs in Australia and to now be in the 3rd year is a testament to the Club and Macron.” King said.
“They have been a great club to deal with, a club which pays attention to the details and appreciates the work you do for them.
“Furthermore this partnership has generated trust around the brand over the last 2 years, trust which helped to create our reputation in the market, also supported by the growth of the company on the international scene.” he added.
The design of 2015 Melbourne Knights home and away strips – which will be worn by all juniors and seniors – and supporter gear will be unveiled closer to the upcoming season in the new year.
