Knights to return to Tasmania on tour

For the first time since 2002, the Melbourne Knights will return to Tasmania for two matches scheduled to take place on the 22nd and 23rd of January. Hobart’s KGV stadium will play host as the visiting Victorian Premier League side take on sister club, Glenorchy Knights, as well as a Tasmanian select side (Sunday 23rd Jan @ 4pm).
Local talented striker/attacking midfielder Amadu Koroma, who has recently signed with the Melbourne team, will return to his home state in order to face his former club, Glenorchy on Saturday 22nd of January (6pm).
In 2002, the Melbourne Knights, competing in the former National Soccer League, played out a thrilling draw against Perth Glory at York Park in front of a crowd of over 5000 spectators.
