The Melbourne Knights Football Club are pleased to announce another addition to their squad for the upcoming season, Ayden Brice.
Brice, 24, returns to the Knights for season 2021 after spending season 2020 with NPL Northern NSW side, Edgeworth Eagles.
Throughout his time at the Edgeworth Eagles in season 2020, they secured the league title in quite convincing fashion. Brice contributed to their form from the back, as they only conceded 8 goals during the entire campaign.
Brice returns for his second stint with the Knights, after joining the club for the 2018 season.
During his time with the Knights, Brice became quite the fan favourite. His fan favouritism was well-known thanks to his engagement with fans during his time in Knight’s colours.
Brice was also recognised for his work ethic and positive attitude, which saw him admired by his peers.
On his return to the club Brice stated, “I feel the club is going in a direction I want to be a part of in the future.” He continued, “the passion from the fans to the players on wanting to win and be successful really makes it enjoyable and something to be involved in.”
Brice also mentioned that he is excited for, “the new coaching staff that want us to play football and win, young bunch of boys that I know will give their all every game to win, and I want to make finals and so does the club.”
Everyone at the Melbourne Knights wishes Ayden the warmest of returns and are eager to see him back on the pitch in 2021.
