2024 NPL Round 19 – Knights v Moreland

The Knights have found some form over the last few weeks and are looking to put that on display in front of the home crowd against Moreland City this Friday night.

The side is back at home this Friday after a month-long string of away games, where they have been building week in week out, and have taken home 7 points over the four weeks.

The Knights currently sit eighth on the ladder, 7 points outside the top six, so the side will be gunning for a win to have any chance of making the finals.

It’s a very different story for their opponents, Moreland City FC, who sit in 13th place, with just 10 points.

However, they are not to be underestimated, and the Knights go in aware that Moreland is looking to guarantee their position in NPL Victoria for season 2025.

In their previous outing this season, the Knights were able to grab three points away from home thanks to a goal from Tommy Semmy. With the side’s goal difference at break even, they’ll be looking to increase their goal tally to give themselves every chance come later this season.

Knights’ striker Ciaran Bramwell is coming off a blistering few weeks, where he has found some excellent form in front of goal, so the side will be looking to him to find the back of the net once again.

The Knights take on Moreland City FC this Friday at 7:30pm, with gates opening at 7:00pm. Come down and support the side as they push for a finals berth.
