2024 NPL Round 23 – Knights v Magic

The Knights go head-to-head against Altona Magic this Friday as they look to secure three points and close the gap on sixth spot.

The eighth-placed Knights face off against ninth-placed Magic in what looms to be a do-or-die clash for both clubs. With only one point separating the two sides, they’ll both be looking for a full three points to edge them closer to sixth position.

In their previous meeting in Round 10, Magic won 1-0, thanks to a strike from Darcy Anastovski in the 75th minute, with the Knights struggling to find any rhythm or scoring opportunities in front of goal.

With the Knights now under a new Head Coach in Ivan Franjic, the side will look to bring a more exciting and speedy style of football in front of the home crowd.

Both sides are coming off a loss after finding some good form over these past weeks, so it should be an entertaining match, as they battle it out for three points.

Get down to Knights Stadium on Friday, for a 7:30pm kick-off time, and support the side as they look to grab onto sixth spot. Looking forward to seeing you there.
